Why does this matter?
The cemetery contains major works by Croatian sculptors, including monuments by Supetar-born Ivan Rendić. Its most visible landmark is the white-domed Petrinović family mausoleum by Toma Rosandić, beside St Nicholas and early Christian remains.
Go quietly. The sculptures are not an outdoor gallery by accident; they remain part of a working place of memory.
What should you look for?
This is an active cemetery. Visit quietly and respectfully. Do not rush the photograph. First place the detail back inside the street, harbour or landscape that made it possible.
How to find it
- Walk west from Supetar harbour toward the cemetery by St Nicholas. Find the white-domed Petrinović family mausoleum and look for sculptural monuments around it.
- Use the map as a final check, then look for the physical detail described above.
- Allow enough time to notice the surroundings instead of treating this as a pin to collect.
Is it worth the detour?
Yes—if you prefer a place with a story to another interchangeable viewpoint. This is not the biggest sight in Brač. It is the one that makes the destination less generic.
